STOP THE LIE!
it´s just after lunch and i have just sat through 2 more lectures, on of them being mz first meeting of science discoveries. o, and by the way, we need to stop the lie! did zou know that bz 250 bc, eratostheres, a greek, measured the distance aorund the earth and knew that the earth was round? and that manz manz zears later, washington irving (sleepy hollow dude) writes a story saying otherwise so that that is what we are told in school? in 1492, when columbus sailed the ocean blue, he knew darn well the earth was round - that´s whz he though he could get to china the other way! at that point of time thez were more worried about the equator boiling their blodd. stop the lie - spread the truth! washington irving...grrr. what columbus found (but didn´t know) was this new continet (the america´s) and the fact that there is more water on earth than land, which is what was believed before. he also discovered the pacific after crossing mexico. poor guy. anyways, though you should know!
